Room service was listed as available until 1:00 AM, but when I called at 11:45 PM they said it had already closed. That felt frustrating and misleading. The room itself also had serious cleanliness problems: a dirty toilet, stained walls with visible mould, dirty curtains, a bad smell, and a generally damp feel to almost everything. The stay was far below what I expected. They need to improve both cleanliness and service reliability, and I wouldn’t stay there again.

The room had old, worn bathroom fittings: the toilet and bathtub seemed unchanged for decades, the tap was rusty, the tile paint was peeling, and the flush leaked, leaving rust streaks on the wall. There wasn’t an outlet by the bed, so my devices had to stay on the desk below the tiny TV. At night I couldn’t sleep because motorbike noise came straight through, with no sound insulation. The room also lacked basic toiletries, with an empty tissue box and a nearly finished used toilet roll. Check-in was chaotic. I’d agreed with Diana on a room and price, then her colleague seemed to scold her, cancel my upgrade, and offer nothing else. At checkout, the front desk said I could extend, but the next shift only allowed a few extra minutes.

You can walk to the Petronans Towers, shopping malls, shops, and cafes from here. KLCC MRT station is only about a two-minute walk away, and the hotel is right in the city center. For a short visit, the location is hard to beat, and the price feels like good value for a luxurious hotel.
