A few of us were vegetarian, and the chef thoughtfully made the same dishes in vegetarian and non-vegetarian versions. We really enjoyed the vegetarian meal, which was a first for us at a school event. The food and service were wonderful. We held our school CPD at one of the ballrooms at Crystal Crown, Klang. It was spacious and comfortable, with room for around 100 participants or guests, and seems suitable for weddings, annual office dinners, and similar gatherings. Parking was the snag. The spaces in front belong to the town council, so we had to pay, and a few friends got fined after forgetting.

There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel, and the price was reasonable. I stayed one night for a business trip on 26 Jan 2026. My room had just been renovated and was spacious and clean.

Getting to the shopping centers by taxi was easy. The hotel's restaurant had limited food choices, though, and the lack of air conditioning between the elevator and the room was uncomfortable, especially in such a humid area. The building seems old. The bathroom towel hanger was broken, and the door frame looked damaged with age. You'll need a travel adapter to use the power sockets.

I stopped by the crystal crown restaurant today to ask about high tea. The dining area was surprisingly comfortable, and the waiter and waitress were friendly. I'll definitely bring more friends to eat here.

We were told our room had a harbour view. LOL, all we could see was houses and trees. One front office staff member kept coughing really loudly and clearing his throat at the desk while guests were around. It was obnoxious, and the staff need better training in professional behavior.
