The service was good, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was delivered to our room. We booked two rooms, but the condition was very uneven. One was clean and well kept; in the other, the toilet had lots of tiny cockroaches and the floor was covered in bugs. The resort is right beside an oil and gas site, so it’s a handy location if you’re travelling for work.

The check-in was efficient, and the place was fairly clean and tidy. We arrived at 9 pm to a dark, quiet setting that felt a little scary.

The room was huge, with two queen beds, a clean bed, good air-conditioning, and parking right outside. It’s at least an hour from the next town, but for my family with three kids, it was a must-stay. I booked just five minutes before arriving and could still check in at 11 pm. One night cost only 32 SGD, which was well worth it. I’d stay again if I want to avoid the holiday-end traffic back to Singapore.

The resort is next to an oil and gas facility, and it may mainly be used to house that facility’s workers for short stays. The rooms are spacious and clean, with good water pressure and comfortable beds. It’s not an ideal base if you’re looking for nearby attractions or a town.

The staff were friendly, but the room was a letdown. There was a cockroach in the bathroom and a large stain on the bed. You really need a car to get to the hotel, and there’s nothing to do nearby. The nearest town is about a 20-minute drive. Not a great experience.
