Leo Express Hotel

I got trapped in my room's bathroom after the door jammed and wouldn't open. As a solo traveller, I was stuck there alone for nearly an hour. Trying to force the door open cut my hands, and they were bleeding badly. I felt so unsafe that I checked out that night and booked another hotel, injured and alone. The staff gave me no help, didn't check on me, and didn't apologize. I was outside the room with blood on my hands and they showed no care. When I tried to explain, Muhammad, the cleaner/staff member, was rude and unhelpful. They refused to refund me and handled the situation unprofessionally. I even had to contact the police for assistance. The bathroom was extremely small and unsafe, there were no towels, and the facilities were poorly maintained and unsafe. There was no emergency response or customer care. This hotel is dangerous, badly managed, and doesn't care about guest safety. I strongly warn other travellers not to stay here, as your safety is at risk.

There are lots of food shops downstairs, and it's easy to order Domino's here. The hotel is in a good location for travellers who can use Grab, and the area is clean. Check-in staff were good, the room was spacious with all the amenities, and there's a large rooftop swimming pool.

Cockroaches came out of the sink and shower drains, and mosquitoes were flying around. Cleanliness was a major problem: parts of the room were dirty, the lobby toilet was filthy and poorly maintained, and the whole building felt sketchy. The room also looked nothing like the advertisement. It was much smaller than the photos suggested, with plain tile flooring instead of carpet. The bathroom was smaller than my storeroom. The bedding didn't match the pictures either: we got low, thin sheets and blankets instead of the decorated sheets and high mattress shown. The window was terribly built, and the air conditioning took ages to cool the room. The room and building didn't meet expectations or have the amenities claimed. Please don't advertise with pictures that aren't true. It felt like scams and lies. I do not recommend it.

The floor felt creepy as soon as the lift doors opened. The corridor to my room was narrow, dim, smelly, and had torn carpet. Inside, there was a strong dirty odor. The sheets had holes and the blanket smelled bad. The toilet hadn't been tidied after the previous room service: soiled towels were left on the toilet bowl, the shower cream was half used, and the floor was slippery. I'll never set foot in this hotel again, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone who asks.
