The location and price are good, and the staff are friendly. Mini Pods work well if you’re traveling alone and want a bit more privacy, and the free drinking water refills are a nice bonus ❤️ Just remember they don’t stay open 24 hours, so plan your itinerary around that.

Tea Pod felt like a place where I could pause and regroup while traveling, somewhere between a café, library, and community space. There were bean bags, floor cushions, bar seating, and books to read. The coffee was excellent, especially the espresso and café latte, and it was handy to have luggage storage and plates and cutlery for people bringing their own food. I arrived in the middle of a stressful travel situation, and Chris’s support really helped. I also saw him patiently guide a solo female traveller who seemed confused and needed help. There’s real care here, and the welcoming atmosphere made a difference. I’d absolutely recommend Tea Pod to travellers wanting a supportive place near KL Sentral. It beats staying at a hotel in the area. Thank you, Chris. Your kindness meant a lot.

The rooms are simple and cozy, the location is excellent, and the staff are amazing. The coffee is exceptional too. I had a much better experience than I expected from a hostel in the busy KL Sentral area, especially at such a reasonable price. I arrived at his doorstep at 7am, and the host greeted me with a lovely smile. I asked if I could check in, and he politely said no because the bed wasn’t ready. Then he checked the system anyway, and told me there was one bed available. I really appreciated the effort. The hosts are super understanding. No complaints from me. Thank you, 1BUNK1, Bed8
