Poolside By Mingle

There’s a free basic continental breakfast with toast, butter, and jam. Tea and coffee are free too, but milk for your drink costs extra. Towels are available, though each one costs 5 RM, so you can bring your own. The rooms are well maintained, with quiet hours from 9 pm to 7 am. There’s also a 24-hour TV area for movies and series, plus high-speed wifi, paid laundry, and a kitchen guests can use for free. The hostel is cozy and well located near Bukit Bintang, one of the city’s liveliest spots. Pavilion street is about a 10 minute walk away, with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. They arrange city tours, pub crawls, pool parties, and game nights. It was a decent experience for meeting travelers from around the world, joining tours together, and making lasting friends.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the daily activities made it easy to meet people and have a good time. They ran things like pop quizzes, a KL quiz, bites & sights tour, bar night, Batu Caves trip, BBQ party, and pub crawl. Poolside Mingle Hostel was a really enjoyable stay. It was very clean and well maintained. The lobby has a TV and pantry area with a fridge, microwave, water refill station, and a free washing machine for guests. Fantastic experience, I’d highly recommend it to other travelers.

Had a single room, it was cool and quiet at night. The staff were amazing, and the daily events were great for socialising. The organisers, especially kimmy, were fantastic. Had a great time.

The location is excellent, within walking distance of both Chinatown and Bukit Bintang. It’s a great value hostel in KL, with clean dorms, comfortable beds, and a big locker for a full backpack at each bed. The AC was a little too cold for me, but otherwise it was very good. There’s a small free breakfast with toast, fruit, tea, and coffee. Evening events happen daily, from movie nights to pub crawls, so there’s something for everyone.
