M Design Hotel @ Taman Pertama

Check-in was quick, parking was easy, and I had no major issues. The place was reasonably clean, and the shower had strong pressure and hot water. The bathroom and wall design could be better, though, and there was one small blood stain on the bedsheet.

We were in town for the Keretapi Sarong event and stayed at the hotel for three days and two nights. The LRT station is so close, just a two-minute walk, which made getting around convenient and saved us transportation money.

This boutique hotel is on the main road near Taman Midah MRT Station. I booked a deluxe room with a queen bed, and it was pretty decent, with a hair dryer, TV, writing table and kettle provided. There are shopping spots like leisure mall and lotus nearby. Convenient for a holiday or business trip.

A handy choice if you walk in with little or no cash, since they take credit cards for the payment and deposit, with RM5.30 in fees. The room was decent and clean, with enough space for two adults and a toddler. It had a kettle and tea bags, two USB charging slots and a socket, plus a TV with basic TV and radio channels and a few Astro channels, including NatGeo and FOX. The queen bed is a bit high, so be careful if a toddler is jumping on it or sleeping there, as a fall could be dangerous. The bathroom was clean, with a hair dryer and complimentary toiletries. Even the brush was very soft and good quality for a small hotel. It’s a nice stay in a great location near the LRT, a convenience store, clinic and mamak restaurant. The price may be a little high, given how close it is to all those places.
