M City Service Suite

We stayed four days in Tower 2, Lobby 3, for medical reasons, and being only a 10-minute walk from Gleneagles Hospital was a real plus. The building also felt secure, with staff at the entrance and key cards for tenants. There are lots of Chinese and Western restaurants nearby. The location deserves five stars. Our studio, though, was disappointing. We wanted to prepare our own meals, but the kitchen had only two plates, three plastic bowls, a tiny pot and a small, cheap, dirty frying pan. The pan was greasy, damaged and unsafe to cook with. The mugs weren’t clean, the cutlery felt low quality, and there were only three forks and two spoons. A plastic spatula still had food on it. It didn’t seem like the Airbnb owner had put much care into supplying the kitchen. There was mold in the air-conditioning vent, which could pose a serious health risk and cause breathing trouble, especially for people with allergies. We found extra pillows, but one was lumpy, its filling was coming out, and its case was ripped. The host left us disappointed, and I hope Booking.com takes these problems into account.
