The adult pool is huge, with enough room for plenty of people to swim. The kids’ pool is more basic, just a water sprinkler. I’ve been here twice now for a quick break from Kuantan, and the room was roomy and comfortable both times.

The river view from my room was so calming, and the staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the price felt reasonable for what you get. I left very satisfied.

We had a really nice three-day stay. The location is very good, and the reception team and doormen were professional. Breakfast was okay. The room was large and lovely, though the iron wasn’t very clean and the shower glass door needs adjusting.

They were kind about my request to switch to a queen bed at check-in, and both check-in and checkout were quick and easy. I was welcomed warmly even though I arrived in an old car. The staff helped bring my luggage to reception and treated me with respect, no judgment at all. Breakfast had plenty of tasty choices, and my room was clean, comfortable, and well cared for. The whole place felt peaceful. One of my best hotel stays, and I’ll definitely return.

The breakfast buffet was disappointing, with many ingredients that didn’t seem fresh. The kitchen could use a major overhaul, and I’d look at the many good options outside the hotel restaurant if possible. There were stains in several spots on the room carpet. The furnishings may be old, but most things still worked. If you have allergies, spell them out clearly, since an allergen may still be added even when it isn’t listed on the menu.
