There are some shops within walking distance, and the location is decent, but I wouldn’t recommend the room. It’s self check-in, with access card instructions sent by the host. The building and floor looked old and run down, and the hallway and elevator area were dark at night because the lights were off. In Room 905 Deluxe King, the door took a lot of force to open or close. Inside, it smelled stale and dusty, the sofa had a lingering sweat smell, and the floor felt icky underfoot. The toilet smelled of cigarettes too. There’s no smart TV, just a small selection of channels, which is fair enough. There were several roaches coming and going. It wasn’t just one or two sightings.

Parking isn’t provided, so you have to pay for it yourself, and customer service was slow with updates. I booked through vip pass, and the room was clean and neat, with good water supply and excellent TV channels. Its condition was great, just not quite what I pictured from the vip pass website 🙄. There was no tissue or cutlery, and the freezer didn’t work.

We were quite disappointed with the service. In room 909, the light switch was broken and covered with white tape. The receptionist accepted my request to change rooms, but room 901 was a letdown too. It smelled of smoke when we walked in, the washroom was smelly, and the toiletries were incomplete. Then loud banging from the other side kept going until my husband woke up. It spoiled our staycation.

We booked a one bedroom suite for a weekend getaway at Alia damansara from 17 February to 19 February, and didn’t enjoy the stay at all. After a long day, we came back to relax, only to find out there would be a power cut from 10 pm to 5 am. We hadn’t even showered, let alone slept. The owners never told us about the outage, even though a notice had been posted on 7/2/23 before our stay. They should have informed us earlier and asked if we still wanted to come, or at least refunded half the amount paid. When we contacted them, they said there was nothing they could do and didn’t take responsibility for the inconvenience. They were very rude and unprofessional.
