Artisan Eco Hotel

It was hot in the lobby, with no ventilation. The air conditioning was off and the electric fan wasn’t running either. There was also a curry smell.

I left my phone in the room by accident before a flight, and the receptionist helped me get it back after I contacted the hotel. They were really friendly. I had a very pleasant two-day stay, so thank you.

There was a blood stain on the blanket, and the bed didn’t feel clean at all. The bathroom also had a strong, unpleasant smell that seemed to come through the ventilation and stayed the whole time. A strange electrical sound from the ceiling kept going too. I have no idea what caused it, but it made it hard to relax. I know this is a budget hotel, but basic cleanliness still matters. With a 4.4 rating, I expected better. I’d suggest nearby GM Hotel instead, which seemed much cleaner and better value for money.

The room was clean and well looked after, and the staff were courteous, professional, and quick to handle things. The location works well too, with plenty of places to eat and convenience shops nearby. Sunway Pyramid is just a short walk away.
