Not bad at all. The room was just right, and the bathroom was bigger than I expected. It even had a hairdryer. Cool, awesome stay!
2/10
You can bathe and take a nap here, but it’s not a place to sleep properly. The window soundproofing is so poor that highway traffic is loud and nonstop, and I couldn’t sleep all night. You get what you pay for. One star.
2/10
I stayed in room 9122 in early September 2024, and the smell was unpleasant. The ceiling had mold, and the pillows had visible yellow stains and still smelled awful even after the covers were changed. I’d stayed here in 2022 and it was perfectly fine then, but the place has gone downhill. It may be a budget hotel, but basic hygiene, monitoring, and maintenance matter if Hotel 99 wants to stay in business.
10/10
The superior queen room was very small, though the shower pressure was strong and the heavy, solid door kept outside noise out. I got a cheaper rate by booking through Klook.
2/10
The hotel had a strong bleach smell throughout. My bedsheet, pillowcase, and blanket were all dirty, the door lock didn’t work, and the TV was unusable. If you’re looking to waste money on a cheap hotel, go ahead.
