Hotel Desaria

The service is very poor. Yesterday the aircon had a problem, but when we asked to change rooms they said the hotel was full. Today the fridge in the room was leaking. After we came back from the shop, we couldn’t open the hotel room door, and the service was nonsense. What kind of management is this?

I’d stayed here before without problems, but on 14th of April I was in room 510 on the 5th floor and it was hot because the aircon wasn’t working properly. I called reception, and someone came up and said it needed to be restarted. Half an hour later the room was still getting hotter, so I went down and asked to move. They put me in room 508, but that aircon had the same problem. When I went back to reception, I didn’t get much help. I don’t recommend the hotel because the workers were busy playing with their phones instead of helping guests. Customer service was awful.

The room felt cramped, and the dirty blanket and bed left my legs itching all night. The towels had a terrible smell. The bathroom lock was broken, the toilet barely flushed, and the bidet was disgusting and hardly usable. Even the shampoo smelled like lice repellent. A horrible hotel.

The reception staff were responsive and cooperative, and the rooms were spacious and well lit. I had a great experience. If you have work in or near Petaling Jaya, this is a good place to stay.
