Lumi @ Tropicana PJ | GolfClub |Balcony| 5 pax

The swimming pool and gym were highlights, and the residence felt well maintained, secure and had a nice vibe. Lumi Tropicana was convenient for our short trip, and the stay was very relaxing. Our Airbnb unit was clean and nicely designed, with surprisingly large rooms that made it feel spacious. We had a great 3-day stay and felt it was worth the RM1.2k. Definitely a 5-star experience.

The public spaces are kept clean, and the security team is organised and friendly most of the time. Lifts are occasionally out of service. There’s only one vehicle entry lane, so the entrance can get congested now and then.

We were told parking was allowed anywhere on level 5, but our car was clamped in a spot meant for a house owner. I accept that we weren’t told about that spot, but we couldn’t pay through the app without a Malaysian number, which we didn’t have. We asked them to bring a payment machine, but they couldn’t, then asked to go to a cash machine and were refused permission to leave, even on foot. We were looking after a family member’s child, who was in the car screaming while we waited to take him back to his mum. When his mother came to collect him, security wouldn’t let her up to him unless she paid. She was distressed and paid. I find it completely unacceptable that the place would ransom a child over a clamping fee when the mother and child had nothing to do with the clamping. They don’t explain the parking properly, then clamp you and make you pay.

One room had a light that wouldn’t switch on and a faulty fan, and nothing was done after complaints. Only one public lift was working, with the other two out of service. You can imagine how long the wait was. It sucked!
