Moment Hotel

The bathrooms in both rooms were clean and well kept, and the second room had no damp smell. It was windowless, though, and a different price from the one I'd booked. I accepted it because staff said there were no other rooms available. My first room was damp and smelled bad, so I sprayed fragrance just to sleep. After being out at a seminar from 6.30 am to 7.30 pm the next day, I came back to find the blanket wet. When I asked to move, staff questioned where the water had come from instead of taking my complaint seriously. They said nobody had reported the room before. It took three checks before they moved me. They offered to change the blanket and sheets if I stayed, but I refused. I didn't want to risk water dripping again in the middle of the night and having to run back to the lobby. The staff need more training, especially the woman on duty, who seemed uncooperative. The place is easy to reach in town, with shops and food nearby. I would have called it good value if this hadn't happened. The owner should maintain it properly, since it could be a good spot for travelers.

I regret staying here. The sink pressure was so weak I could barely wash my hands, and there was no electric kettle or hot water dispenser, so making a hot drink in the room wasn't an option. They did provide a mini fridge, but I found it pretty useless. There's no water dispenser for guests either. I didn't mind the low rate or small room, but the basic amenities were lacking.

If nobody is there to answer, they shouldn't put the hotel's phone number online.

The room size seemed fair for the price, and the sheets looked clean. There was a mini fridge too. Wi-Fi was decent for about 10 minutes, then I couldn't connect again. The smell was the worst part. Although it's listed as non-smoking, the room felt as if someone had smoked 20 packs in it. The bathroom was so cramped I couldn't stand to spend one extra second there. They really need an exhaust vent to clear out smoke from previous guests.
