One World Hotel

The hotel is connected to a shopping centre with, in my opinion, one of the best mixes of retail goods. That makes it a great fit for serious shoppers: you can shop till you drop, then get back to your room without dealing with a cab, heat or traffic. Singaporeans seem to make it a haven too, since the bus that comes directly from there stops at the hotel. It’s the best hotel west of central KL in my view. It’s rated five stars and lives up to international expectations.

Breakfast had a wide selection of cuisines, and the food was delicious, appealing and high quality. The restaurant staff were helpful, friendly and excellent. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, clean, well organized and fully equipped, with no shortcomings at all. One World Hotel is right beside 1 Utama Shopping Centre and has easy access to the LDP highway. The hotel is beautiful and spacious, with plenty of free parking. Reception handled check-in quickly, efficiently and professionally. Special thanks to Ms. Syahira at reception, who helped us around 8:40 PM on 23/12/2025. She was kind, friendly, professional and efficient, and I really appreciated the complimentary upgrade from a Superior Room to an Executive Room. The hotel exceeded my expectations and is one of the best I’ve stayed in.

The hotel is next to a huge mall with lots of places to eat and family-friendly entertainment, and there’s a Japanese restaurant called Kura near the lobby that you have to try. We were wowed by the hotel staff’s service on our first stay, and the breakfast selection was amazing. The roti canai was made to order and delicious with the chicken curry. I had it every day for all three days, haha. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely come back.

The location was decent, but this five-star hotel ran out of toilet paper in the lobby restroom. The receptionist was useless, and the excuse was that the supplier hadn’t sent a new batch. I’m sure supermarkets have toilet paper. It brought back memories of COVID times. We were staying two nights, so let’s see whether there’s toilet paper on the second night. Maybe it’s the only place in Malaysia to run out, and instead of fixing it, they blame the supplier. I booked a Junior Suite, but the bed was unbelievably hard, probably the hardest I’ve ever slept on. I don’t understand how a five-star hotel can have a bed harder than a carpeted floor.
