I can’t see how this place got a 4-star rating. It didn’t feel professional, and I was truly disappointed. The room had ants and a leaking wall. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly, with cigarette ashes on the toilet, even though it was a non-smoking room. The previous guest had smoked, and the smell and traces were obvious. Parking also wasn’t free or fixed rate. They mentioned a season pass for rm10 a day, but it was limited, even when the hotel’s dedicated parking on b1 was empty. You pay the full hourly rate once those passes run out. Security worried me too. Anyone could walk in and out, and someone claiming to be a cleaner opened my friend’s room without a key. The area is known for inappropriate activity, apparently. After my husband picked up breakfast for the family and returned to the hotel, police stopped him and held him for questioning. This doesn’t feel healthy for a family stay.

The location worked well, with malls a short distance away and Grab car service available. Check-in was quick, and reception was good. Rooms were fairly clean, with basic amenities and clean beds. There was also a noticeable security presence, which was a plus.

I booked a Deluxe Twin for two nights, but had to go to the front desk three times to sort out the room. First they put me in 1513, a Double. Then they switched me to 1312, a Triple, but it hadn’t been cleaned (see photo). The next room, 1313, was another Double. I eventually stayed there after they added a Single bed. The hotel also felt quite rundown, and water was leaking onto the lobby floor. I was concerned about security too, since the lift could reach any floor without a key card.

The lobby was the first letdown. It looked nothing like the photos on OTA platforms, and the setup felt unfinished and poorly maintained. Household items, including standing fans and random equipment, were left around, making the space seem temporary. There was no air conditioning, so it was warm and uncomfortable. Guest service didn’t feel up to a 4-star standard either. Staff weren’t professionally presented, and one person was serving guests in shorts and a T-shirt. The experience felt misleading compared with the photos and the hotel’s 4-star claim. I hope management improves the facilities and service to match what they advertise.
