Parkview Service Apartment @ KLCC

There are lots of vendors and apartment owners here, so take time to find the option that suits your preferences. Guests can use the pool and other facilities, and there's a small shop and laundry in the basement. Food is easy to find, with street stalls and food trucks just outside the gate and a sevel a short walk away. KLCC is only about a 5-10 minute walk. Great location.

The host was kind, responsive, and helpful, and the clean, well-kept place had complete facilities. It was easy to get around from this very convenient location, and the beautiful view of KL Tower was a highlight. I didn't feel fully safe because there was no double lock, just a manual lock on the door. If someone had a spare key, getting in seemed easy. The bathroom drain also didn't work properly, leaving the floor wet all the time, which felt unpleasant and unhygienic.

The location is good, but the apartment is completely overrun with cockroaches. We found three in the elevator, and once inside, I killed at least 30, with plenty more still around. They were in the microwave, cupboards, fridge, washing machine, toilet, everywhere. Get near anything and the place seems to come alive with them. There's a pest control car downstairs, but a small car with two workers won't fix this. They'd need trucks and buses to clean it out. At this point, they might as well demolish the building and put up a new one. The roaches have taken over.

The location was the only good part. The apartment smelled musty and the odor wouldn't go away, including in the otherwise clean bathroom. The balcony was dirty, and the floor was falling apart, with poor maintenance throughout. The caretaker asked me to leave a Booking.com review before returning my deposit and wanted me to give a 10. I gave it a 7, though the place deserved two stars. I'd never stay here again.
