Time Hotel Sunway

A budget-friendly place with good air conditioning, hot showers, bottled drinking water for free, and lots of shops nearby.

The price and location are reasonable, and the male staff are fine, but some of the service was poor. The Wi-Fi is the worst part. There’s just one network shared by the whole floor, and while it’s strong in the corridor, it barely loads a Google search when you’re in your room, lying on the bed. I’ve found the Malaysian girl at reception asleep behind the counter at least twice. I called her and even yelled, but she stayed asleep.

I arrived at 2 pm to check in, but housekeeping wasn’t done, so they told me to come back at 3:30. Bad service. There was no staff in sight, and I had to wake one who was sleeping. I don’t recommend this hotel.

The room was decent for the price, with no complaints about the space or how clean it was when I arrived. I stayed three nights, but the service was among the worst I’ve experienced. On the second day I asked the woman at reception to clean the room. When I got back that night, it was still messy and untouched, with no explanation or follow-up. At checkout, the man at reception charged me for being an hour late, even though I’d tried to check out earlier. Nobody was at the desk, and once someone finally arrived, I was told to wait ten minutes because a staff member had gone to lunch. I explained that the delay wasn’t my fault and the charge wasn’t fair, but they still deducted it from my deposit without asking or properly telling me. The room was fine, but staff handled guest service and communication terribly. I won’t return.
