AnCasa Resort Port Dickson

We had a pleasant stay and plan to come back. The evening view from our unit was stunning, and the pool was a highlight, especially for kids. Teluk Kemang beach is within walking distance through the hotel's private access gate, and there are plenty of nearby restaurants for breakfast and lunch. The staff were well trained and responded quickly to requests. The kids' pool and easy beach access make a great combination.

The view was wow, and the rooms looked beautiful with working air-conditioning. The service was amazing, though parking was so limited on arrival that finding a spot took about 20 minutes. On our last night we found cockroaches and lizards, and heard banging sounds while trying to sleep. The balcony had disgusting mold and bird poop, and the bathroom doors creaked so loudly that I woke my whole family when I went in during the night. I can't say safety comes first with those really short balcony railings. I'd give the pool five stars if it had another slide. The buffet was expensive, and I didn't try the food service. I stayed four days and three nights, and about 70% of it was horrible, though the rest was great.

We were tired after a long trip, and the staff understood and let us check in early. The food was delicious, breakfast was good, and the pool was nice. It's a lovely place for a holiday, close enough to walk to the beach and Observatory. My only complaint was that some people using the pool weren't dressed appropriately.

From our three-room apartment in Block C, the sea view was worth a million dollars, with no complaints at all. The Teluk Kemang beach is just across the back entrance, about 50 metres away toward the far end. It was clean, with fine sand and fewer people. We stayed one weekend night. The building is old, but the owner seems committed to renovations. The pool has been updated, and there are new paintwork, landscaping and pickleball courts. Keep it up! Parking in the compound and basement is quite limited, though there's a safe, secure open lot next door. Some things need work: pigeon nests and droppings between the building walls look bad and raise health concerns; the apartment floor was a little sticky; and the living-room air-conditioner started dripping and could use a cleaning.
