OYO 90499 Marina View Villas

The studio-sized units are spacious, and the location is really close to all the shops. It's not too old, but maintenance is very poor, especially around the entrance. There was no shampoo, shower gel, sugar, tea, or anything like that. Worst of all, the door wouldn't lock 😂, so we put a chair against it to secure it. Cockroaches came out of the sink at night. Luckily the AC worked. I went specifically to see the place and try staying there, since a few units are up for sale so cheaply. But it's a big no from me. I think maintenance and management will cause a lot of problems later. For the price, I wouldn't recommend it. You can find a better place in PD for the same or less.

There were cats roaming around, and the accommodation was messy. The bathroom sink and shower knob both leaked. The bedsheet still smelled of sweat from previous users, and there was a bad, pungent smell outside because of the cats. The car park was very dark, with no lights, and there was a notice saying, “park at your own risk”. We booked two nights without knowing about these conditions and checked in around 11.30pm. The place was in bad shape, so we checked out the next day. There was no refund, and we're fine with that.

The price is reasonable, and the room is quite okay, though it needs a little improvement. The service was good.

The corner unit sits high up, and there was a nice breeze at night. The night view was peaceful, though it isn't an ocean view. Check-in was easy, and the TV and Wi-Fi were enjoyable to have. Both toilets were clean and had shower gel, shampoo, tissues, and towels. The air conditioners seemed nearly new, but they were only in the two bedrooms, and there was no iron. There’s a fridge, oven, induction cooker, salt, seasoning, cooking oil, and sugar. For family cooking, bring your own rice cooker, rice, soup ladle, and jug. The apartment lift is quite old, so you have to press the button and wait for the doors to open. The host could be more responsive and give more details. It was good enough for a quick getaway.
