RD Legend Hotel

I stayed from 28 May to 31 May, and wouldn't stay here again or recommend it. The biggest problems were hygiene and how my complaint was handled. When I checked in, the bathroom sink was clogged and had dirty food leftovers that seemed to be from a previous guest. There were worms in it too. On the third day, I found a large worm crawling on the bathroom wall. No hotel guest should have to deal with that. There was no daily housekeeping during my stay, even though daily cleaning was listed on Agoda and Booking.com. Nobody cleaned the room or removed rubbish, so the advertised service wasn't provided. I reported the issues, expecting a prompt, professional response, but staff came across as rude and dismissive, with little concern for the hygiene problems or the trouble caused. Clean rooms, accurate listings and decent customer service are basic parts of hospitality. This hotel failed on all three during my visit. I hope management takes it seriously and makes major improvements to housekeeping, service and the accuracy of its online listings.

The room felt neglected and uncomfortable, and I have no plans to come back or recommend it. It was extremely narrow, so only one person could pass between the bed and wall at a time. A bad smell greeted me as soon as I entered and stayed throughout the visit. There wasn't much in the way of amenities. The small, thin blanket wasn't comfortable, and the room had just one mirror, with none in the tiny bathroom. The bathroom also kept smelling foul for reasons I couldn't work out. The tiles, or mozek, were in poor condition. Between the lack of cleanliness, comfort and basic facilities, it was a deeply disappointing stay.

We had a bad stay and I regret choosing this hotel. The original room had a broken toilet and was too noisy, so they moved us to an upgraded room, but its air conditioning didn't work. With Malaysia's hot, humid climate and my two-year-old daughter with us, that caused problems for our family.

A cheap budget hotel with a barebones room. The bed was comfortable, the shower had hot water, parking was free and the location was good. But the bathroom smelled, and the road noise was a problem. The blankets looked like they'd never been washed, there was hair left on the floor from previous guests, and cleanliness could be better. Wi-Fi was spotty and didn't always work.
