Pulau Ketam D'island Beds & Cafe has a great location, and the nearby seafood is excellent. But the downstairs guests turned the night into a 12-plus-hour EDM session. Their full-volume headbanger music started at 9 PM and was still going after I came back from breakfast. Sleep wasn't happening. I went down at 3 AM several times to ask them to turn it down. They acted like silence was a crime, and when I called the host in desperation, the music got even louder. My request seemed to be taken as a challenge. If you're after an insomnia experience, this is your place. Bring earplugs or noise-canceling headphones, or give up and join the party. Sleep quality: -1/10. Nearby seafood: 10/10. Sound system: 100/10. Mental endurance training: certified.

A terrible stay. The tenant downstairs partied with music blasting past midnight, and people were drinking in the common corridor and stairway. Keep scrolling… 😡

The river-facing family suite was cozy, clean, and convenient, with easy access to the two main streets for food. The view was exceptional and a relaxing change for those of us from the city. The adults and kids all loved it. David the host was very friendly and quick to share detailed, useful information. It was my first visit, and family members who came years ago were impressed too. We'll definitely come back.

David the host was so welcoming, friendly, and understanding. The Airbnb was spotless and comfortable, and exceeded my expectations for such a reasonable price. The whole place felt like home. They also rent electric bikes and tricycles at a good price, and I'd definitely recommend renting one if you're staying there. Be sure to visit their mini grocery shop too, it has everything you need! 😋❤️❤️

The place is clean, and the room has its own bathroom. You pick up the key from the host’s shop, just a minute away. The host was really friendly and could arrange a boat tour, but we skipped it and took our time exploring. Definitely recommend this stay 🥰
