Putrajaya Marriott Hotel

We had a very good family stay here, and I give it 5 stars. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel is attractively decorated throughout, from the registration area and cafe to the pool and rooms. Our room was large and comfortable, with minimalist furniture, a big soft bed, a spacious bathroom, bathtub, enclosed mirrored shower and large bathroom mirror. There was also a balcony with a lovely night view. The pool area has separate adult and children's pools. Kids can enjoy two slides with different challenges, which made it especially fun. The cafe is roomy, serves a varied and tasty breakfast, and has friendly, efficient, attentive staff. The location is strategic, close to IOI Mall Putrajaya. Booking about two months ahead through the Marriot Bonvoy application made the price quite affordable at RM 642.00 for one night. That booking earned 1600 points, which can be redeemed for stays at other hotels, and the app also offers a government package for government sector workers at a cheaper room price.

My first stay at Marriott Putrajaya left me very satisfied, and I'll definitely return. From arrival through check-out, the service was tip-top. All the staff were friendly, professional and helpful, especially the part-time staff member who handled our luggage with such warmth and politeness. Marriott's service was better in my experience than Hil***, where I've stayed many times. The only small drawback was the kids' club. It had fewer games and felt a bit boring for my child. Apart from that, everything was perfect. Service: 10/10. Thank you so much!

The kids had a great time at the pool and activities, especially archery. The hotel was very full during our visit, though, so breakfast lines were long and the pool crowded. Staff seemed a little overworked but remained kind and attentive. The kids' game room needs maintenance too: half the arcade machines didn't work, and the massage chairs wouldn't accept money. We had dinner at the lounge, breakfast at Zest and lunch through room service. The food was good across the board. I especially enjoyed the mee goreng from room service, and the lounge dinner spread was solid. This is a lovely family-friendly hotel. I called ahead because my sister and brother-in-law were joining me for breakfast, and the Loyalty Executive, a young Malay gentleman whose name card I wish I'd kept, was extremely helpful. He suggested adding their breakfasts at check-in, which saved us about 30-40% compared with walk-in rates. He also arranged a room upgrade to a suite, a wonderful touch. I'd recommend the hotel, especially for families.

A very pleasant stay, with a warm welcome from the moment I arrived. The staff were attentive, and Afiq deserves special mention for his courtesy and for making check-in even better. The parking lot was spacious, the room was nice and cozy, and the view was great. Breakfast could be better with more local menu choices.
