Pristine Hotel

For someone like me who's slept by roadsides and at public transport stations, a simple room with a shower can be enough. My stay was okay, by God's blessings, and everyone will have their own opinions and experiences. May God bless your journey too. The location is right in the heart of Rawang, with McD, KTM and other shops within walking distance. Public parking is easy to find. It's free on Saturday and Sunday; on weekdays, check Rawang council's rates for 8am-6pm, and digital payment is recommended. Mine came to around RM55 plus a RM10 deposit per night, so it's a very cheap budget hotel. Could work for a solo traveller or someone on a long drive who needs a place to shower and rest. The room itself was basic. The water heater didn't work, so I had a cold shower, and the sink leaked when I washed or brushed my teeth. There weren't cockroaches, but there were plenty of ants, so be careful with snacks. No kettle in the room, though there's a large water machine for coffee on the second floor. The pillow was okay, but the bed and blankets weren't good. Bring your own teddy bear and towels if you can. If you're a lone rider, you know what I mean. Expect what you'd expect from a RM55 budget hotel, not a pool or gym. It may be crowded with foreign workers day and night, so check in early if you just need to sleep. Some people seem to rent rooms for weeks or months; I saw foreign workers with children chatting casually with others like neighbours. We could go on listing drawbacks, but if you're a survivor, you can turn them into positives by focusing on your journey and not the bumps.

The counter lady was friendly, the bedrooms hygienic, and the staff really helpful. The price was affordable too. It's in a handy spot near tourist attractions and local food places. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.

There's an eatery for convenience, but only during the day, until 5pm. The bathroom mirror was set so low that I had to put a chair in front of it to sit and shave my beard. It's a budget hotel with a corridor, and noisy people walking past can be disturbing sometimes. No Astro or cable TV, only Wi-Fi at 24mbps. The TV has RTM channels, but the remote didn't work, same as in the adjacent room.

The receptionist gave very good service. It's a budget place, so don't expect too much. I paid RM35 a night for three days, which saved me money. Thanks for being here.
