East Sun Hotel

A kiosk lets you check yourself in and get your room key card, which was the coolest part for me. The staff were very friendly, and parking was plentiful. There's a mamak nearby and a Family Mart right beside the hotel, which was really convenient.

I found something disgusting on the bed, as shown in the picture, and the place just didn't feel clean or nice at all. Where I come from, this would easily count as a quickie motel. I hope I get through the night. My tour agency booked our whole group here for one night, so I had no choice. If this hotel is in your tour itinerary, think hard before signing up. It's my first time staying in a no-star hotel.

For r12x a night, the price feels like three-star, but the experience was more like one-star.

I stayed one night during the third Hari Raya. Check-in was fine, and the surroundings were okay. The hotel is within walking distance of a 24-hour mamak and Family Mart. But in the morning there was no water, apparently because lots of people at the hotel were using it at once. There was no iron or mini fridge either. For the price, I expected a better quality hotel.
