The little balcony was a nice bonus, a spot to sit outside and look over the town. The older lady was very kind, and the woman at the travel agency the guesthouse works with was helpful and kind too. The place is basic, but cheap, clean, and in a good location.

Breakfast is available pretty much whenever you want it, and there's a travel and tour office right on site. Both the kitchen and bathrooms are basic, but adequate. The location is really good, and the staff are wonderful, friendly, and helpful.

The service needs work, and the interior and resting areas should be laid out better so more visitors can stay overnight. During my stay, my power bank was left charging at a socket and went missing. The keeper also didn't give me the room key, so I had to make a fuss in the room. The toilet wasn't working properly when I tried to shower early in the morning. Thanks to Rose guesthouse for giving me a place to stay, but these problems need attention.

The dorm was clean, the sheets were clean, and the location was good. I paid RM17 through Hostelworld. The wifi was fast, the lady staff member was friendly, and there were cute cats. But the stairway smelled of cat pee, the kitchen and bathroom areas weren't very clean, the curtains let in sunlight, and the bed squeaked.
