Sanbay Hotel

The hotel is old and dated, but at this price you can't expect too much. There's free parking. Our room had cold air conditioning and strong hot water. It came with two bottles of water, two sachets each of coffee and Milo, a kettle, air dryer, fridge, tissues, one toilet roll, two tea cups, a tube each of bath gel and shampoo, and a few hangers. The towels felt a bit rough, but they were white and clean. Too bad there were no toothbrush or toothpaste.

I was there for one work night. The room was spacious, and the toilet had been renovated in a modern style, though parts of the hotel still looked old. The air conditioner smelled bad. The first room they gave me couldn't be opened because of a problem with the door lock battery, so I was moved to another room a little farther away. The hotel is quite large and a bit old. It has a small elevator that works well, and roadside parking is available.

The price doesn't match the condition of the hotel, and I was disappointed. The room was quite dirty, with no toiletries, and the old air conditioner didn't work well. The fridge didn't work at all, so why have one? If you need to iron clothes, you have to go to the lobby because they don't allow customers to take the iron to their rooms.

The hotel feels dated and definitely needs renovation to deserve 3 stars. They charge for water, coffee, and other items after the first two free sachets and water. Even another toilet roll costs extra if you ask for one.
