The Blanket Hotel

The room was dark, with not enough lighting, and the air conditioning wasn't very cold. The mattress is worn out enough that you can feel the springs.

The room was dusty and not very clean, and it looked nothing like the website photo. Even with all the lights on, it was very dark. In the middle of the night there were lots of noises from the next room, even though nobody was staying there. Its door kept being open every day. Sometimes we heard girls laughing and people stomping inside, and we experienced some “supernatural” things. 😂 We told reception and asked them to check the CCTV, but got no response. Considering the price and location, it was quite okay.

The TV was useless, just a box with no screen mirroring or Android TV. The rooms were filthy too: sticky floors, a filthy bathroom, and bedsheets that smelled horrible. We asked to switch rooms, but the replacement was just as bad. I honestly felt they were giving Indians and Chinese guests the dirtier rooms and keeping cleaner ones for Malays. Reviews from other Indian and Chinese guests describing the same thing made it seem even more suspicious. This was easily my worst stay, and I regret every minute. Avoid this place and never book here.

We paid for three rooms because we were too tired to keep looking at other hotels, but before paying, as walk-in guests, we had asked to see the rooms and were refused. Mr Danny said hotel policy didn't allow guests to view rooms first. We were shocked by the hygiene problems: smelly bedsheets, pillows, and beds, a strange smell in the rooms, TVs that didn't work, doors that wouldn't lock, and toilets in poor condition, with faulty locks and old, rusty showers that didn't work. We asked to change rooms but were turned down. This was the worst hotel stay I've had. Some budget hotels are much cleaner. We understand and accept basic amenities at a budget hotel, but hygiene is a must. Strongly not recommended.
