I'm 75, and this was the worst stay I've ever had, even though it was a family room. There was just one small, dim light in the whole room, and no lift to the third floor. The washroom and toilet had no hose pipe. The air conditioner only blew air, and there wasn't even a fan.

I booked two rooms through Hotels.com, and the man at the reception found my booking and showed me that it was confirmed. Then he said there were no rooms left. It was ridiculous. He couldn't speak English and could only point at things, even though he'd just shown me my reservation. That was my worst experience ever, and I'm never coming back.

We used this as a stopover on our backpacking trip. It was easy to find, about a 10-minute walk from the train station, with loads of street food places also around a 10-minute walk away. The rooms were clean, but noise was an issue. The street is very busy, and the windows weren't made to keep the sound out. The air conditioning unit is under the window and is somewhat worn.
