Labis Sunrise Farm Stay

The staff were attentive and helpful, especially with the seniors getting around, and the lady boss gave our beneficiaries free durians before we left, which delighted us. We were here for a 2D1n team-building stay with beneficiaries, mostly adults with special needs, and caregivers in their 50s and 60s. It's a simple, back-to-basics kampong stay, with an orchard tour, farm animals, lovely scenery and fresh air. There are modern comforts too, like air conditioning, heated water and fresh sheets, plus good food, especially the durians picked fresh from the orchard. There was lots of open space for gathering and chatting, and I especially liked the karaoke area. My one suggestion is to look at how the monkeys are kept. Perhaps they could have a bigger, more open space. Other than that, thank you all for a lovely stay.

Lovely scenery, with trains passing by in the background adding to the atmosphere. The staff and campsite owner were amazing, professional and quick to help, and they went the extra mile to understand what guests needed. A great place to camp. I'd highly recommend it for kids, families, youths and young adults.

When we arrived on a very hot day, the staff had already switched on the air conditioner in our rooms so we'd have a cool place to rest after check-in. One friend had dietary restrictions, and the kitchen and staff already knew, so they arranged alternative food for her. The service was thoughtful, considerate, polite and efficient. I was impressed by the clean rooms, delicious food and the farm's activities. Kudos to the friendly staff, and keep up the good work!

The rooms were clean, and the mattresses and pillows were firm and comfortable. The hotel sits on a hill beside the main road, so you can watch the sunrise and sunset without trekking. I really appreciated Candy arranging for us to charge our EV car overnight. We had a great weekend getaway in Labis. There are good restaurants along the main road, with reasonable prices. Satay at Mak Leha Labis Satay is RM0.60 per piece. A hot spring is a 10-15 minute drive away and is best visited at night. It closes at 9pm.
