The hotel’s setting is outstanding, an oasis in an area that’s a little challenging, and I’d absolutely return. The staff and owners were pleasant and very accommodating. Reception stays open 24 hours, which I found remarkable. There are some design shortcomings, including low lighting in the rooms. I also wonder how the building will hold up over the next year, since the materials seem fairly low quality. Still, I have no complaints about the people running the place.

The rooms are fantastic, with lovely decor and a warm, welcoming feel. They even smelled pleasant when we walked in. The people running the place were amazing, and it’s good value, in a peaceful area away from the busy Semporna jetty. Shops and places to eat are nearby, which is handy. I accidentally left my work keys in the room. The next day, the property contacted me to see if I was still in Semporna, but I’d already flown to Kuala Lumpur. Since DHL wasn’t available in Semporna, the owner, Mr. Chan, personally drove 1.5 hours to Tawau to send the keys. That level of care and dedication is extraordinary, and I’m so grateful. Wishing the business lasting success and prosperity.

The place is nice and family-oriented. The cashier and staff were kind and attentive, and I’d recommend it to my friends. I’d happily come back. Highly recommended.

We booked five rooms for two nights to attend a family wedding. The rooms and toilets were clean, and the view was peaceful and lovely. The kids especially enjoyed the rooftop pool. It’s also close to town, and the staff were very helpful. I’d suggest working on the breakfast taste, though.
