The breakfast buffet was generous, the infinity pool was clean and beautiful, and the gym was better than those at many other five-star hotels. There was even a well-kept space for the kids. I stayed here recently in March 2026 and was impressed by what the hotel offers, from the friendly front desk staff to the room attendants. It clearly puts a lot of effort into making visitors feel welcome and meeting five-star standards. Highly recommended!

I was left extremely confused and angry when the hotel refused to return my 400 MYR cash deposit at checkout because I had lost the deposit slip. The front desk had confirmed receiving the money and issued the slip, but the room was in perfect condition and I hadn’t damaged anything. They only accepted cash, not Visa or other credit cards. Why should a lost slip mean they keep the deposit? I checked the relevant regulations in Malaysia, which I understood to say that deposits should be fully refunded when there’s no damage and can’t be withheld just because a receipt is lost. The hotel ignored those rules, as I understand them. Do hotels in Malaysia just hold onto guests’ money arbitrarily? As a tourist, I feel this seriously harms the image of Malaysian tourism. The service and policy left me utterly disappointed. I strongly advise against staying unless you’re willing to risk losing your money. I hope management improves things, or I’ll consider filing a complaint with the Consumer Association!

The bathroom’s wet and dry areas were separated in a surprisingly practical design, a nice touch. The restaurant service was attentive, and there’s a lovely view from the pool. The whole stay felt smooth and genuinely relaxing. This is comfort done right.

The breakfast was good, and the cafe staff were friendly and welcoming, unlike the front desk staff. Still, I was disappointed that they put us in a disability-friendly room without a proper bathroom floor slope. The sink was low, the toilet floor was flat, and after I showered, water flooded into the room.
