For the price, the room was decent and clean, and it felt worth what I paid. It’s a budget option in Semporna, with drinking water provided and restaurants, supermarkets, and laundry nearby. A couple of drawbacks: the bathroom is shared, with no private bathroom, and I found the website information misleading about that. Only the first room, No.10, has a window. The place is also about 2.5km from the city center, bus terminal, and Jetty.

We stayed for one night in January and had a really good time. It’s a quiet place, with a supermarket and some nice restaurants nearby, and the hotel had everything we needed for a night’s sleep. The people were very friendly, and the Owner drove us into the Center and then the next morning to our place to start our Trip to mabul Island. Breakfast was very good too, with fresh fruit, Bread, and other delicious fresh sweets. We can recommend this very nice Hotel.

The neighborhood was fairly quiet, though construction nearby and the lack of soundproofing could bother light sleepers. The walls also had some stains from the room’s high humidity. Tempo is a cheap place, under 100 per night, and includes free breakfast, though it’s only bread. Housekeeping and staff were good. The bed was comfortable, and the water heater worked, but was a little noisy. It’s far from town, and the hotel’s free transport only runs in the morning, around 730-830am. Fine for a short stay.

The hotel was clean, which was the one positive for me. The WiFi didn’t work, there was no breakfast, and those views are from the beautiful garden XD. Overall, horrible.

There wasn’t a window in my room, and I could hear everything because the soundproofing was nonexistent. Worst place I’ve stayed in Malaysia.
