I booked and paid for a suite online by credit card, but the first night we couldn't shower or use the toilet in our own room. We had to make do with dormitory-level facilities, and W’s inn offered no explanation for the inconvenience. At check-out, they also didn't return the RM100 deposit they had asked for after we arrived. There were plenty of rules, including no eating or drinking in the room and a RM10 charge to use the washing machine. But no one mentioned that using the shared bathroom after checking out would cost RM10. I'm curious how Wanderer’s Inn got an 8.3 reputation on Agoda. I want people to know what happened to me there.

The place was clean and tidy, with a nice lounge and a cute kitty. The staff were awesome, and the bunks looked just like the photos. I would have rated it five stars if we hadn't seen a rat run through the women's dorm.

I left before the week I had planned to stay was up. The place felt dirty, the staff were rude, and I was really uncomfortable there. I'd look for another hotel or hostel.

The price is affordable, and there are dorms just for women or just for men, plus a queen room for couples. The cafe is a nice place to chat and get to know other people.

The rooms were okay, though there were ants, and you have to wash your own dishes after breakfast. They don't provide towels or soap. The hostel seems geared toward Chinese guests, since most of the signs are in Chinese rather than English.
