Castello Hotel

I was there for one night. The hotel was nice and clean, and the staff were diligent and efficient. Service was top class. I recommend it!

Breakfast was a packed meal with no menu choices, which was disappointing. Of the five rooms we booked, three were smoking rooms without windows, and they felt stuffy and smelled unpleasant. The rooms also lacked basic items like room sandals. The receptionist was rude and unprofessional when my boss raised a concern. He's supported Castello Hotel Johor for years as a loyal customer, which made the response especially disappointing. We booked five rooms, but the service and facilities didn't meet expectations. The hotel should improve its hospitality, service, and room quality.

I'm here for three nights on a work trip, in Room 206. The room is clean and okay, though a bit small, with little space to pray. The shower pressure is strong, but the hot water keeps changing between hot and cold. I skipped breakfast, but it costs RM10 and comes as takeaway.

The Coway water dispenser in the room was a big plus. The hotel was clean, and I was told it had been renovated. Our room felt spacious, and the bathroom was clean too. The boiler gave plenty of hot water, though you need to switch the heater on about 15 minutes before showering. I'd recommend staying here.
