Afie Hostel KLIA Airport Transit

There’s a restaurant just below the hotel with tasty food at reasonable prices, and shops, a mall, and convenience stores are all close by. Even with all that nearby, it stayed nice and quiet. My room, bed, and towel were clean, and there was A/C. They had free water, both hot and cold. The toilets could use some maintenance, and there wasn’t any hot water, but that didn’t bother me. I enjoyed the stay and was able to check out late. Thank you! 🙏❤️

For a night before or after a flight, it does the job, and it’s cheap. The room was clean, with A/C, a clean towel, and a hot and cold water dispenser. But the room is basically just a bed, mirror, and AC. The walls are paper-thin, so you hear people even from the other side of the building. The restaurant downstairs shuts around 1-2am, and its metal doors are extremely loud. Wifi kept cutting out or was painfully slow. The bathrooms were disgusting, sometimes apparently left uncleaned for days, with water dripping everywhere. Just an average cheap place to stay.

I stayed for four nights and five days, and came away with a better experience than I expected. The common washrooms were neat and clean, and Husen cafe in the basement was really good. I ate dinner there every day and loved it. At around 1200₹ per night before tax, the price was affordable. The place is about 7 KM from the airport, so take a Grab to get there and back. It’s a good fit for solo travelers or introverts who want quiet. Instructions are provided clearly. Once you book, they give you the number lock details to get your room key, and you put it back when checking out. You get what you pay for, and it’s mainly for people who need a decent place near the airport. Overall, a good stay. I’d come back on my next trip to Malaysia and recommend it to others.

Lots of 24-hour restaurants downstairs, and KK Mart, Family Mart, and McD are all within 100m. It’s close to klia2 and the cheapest room in the area. A perfect spot for a short stay or transit.
