Bangau Capsule Hotel - Downtown KLIA

I stayed during an overnight layover and really disliked it. The whole place was dirty, and the bathrooms were gross. My driver seemed nervous about dropping me off, though I told him not to worry, it wasn’t my first rodeo. Back at KL airport, I looked at the benches and thought I’d have been more comfortable sleeping there. The terminal would’ve been cleaner and more comfortable, and cheaper once you count transport and booking fees.

The capsules are funky and spacious, and I quite enjoyed my stay. It’s a squat toilet, but the showers had decent pressure and hot water. The place isn’t sparkling clean, though I’ve seen plenty worse. I’d stay again for a good night’s sleep on my first or last night.

The owner found me a taxi back to the airport for half the price, and the service was great. The pods were bigger than others I’ve stayed in, with clean sheets and towels. It was quiet, the beds were comfortable, and I got the rest I needed before my flight after multiple flights. I stayed for six hours and had a good time. It’s very close to the airport, with lots of food options, including an outdoor food court and a few late-night restaurants. A quiet, quick stopover I’d recommend. Loved my stay, and I feel rested. There are lots of food stalls nearby with plenty of choices at reasonable prices. Bagau is only a seven-minute drive from the airport, making it handy for an overnight layover before or after boarding. The capsules and common washrooms were clean, and the capsules were very comfortable. Service was excellent. The Sri Lankan caretaker at the front desk is the live wire of the place. You can book a ride from Bangau to KLIA, even very early in the morning. The owner provides the ride and was very helpful. Great service!
