Hotel Victory Inn KLIA and KLIA 2

A quiet hotel and area, ideal for an airport layover. Grab took about 15 minutes and cost 30 ringit each way. The room had a nice firm double bed, shower and toilet. I was very happy with the short stay and highly recommend it.

I had one night here during a transit. My flight arrived early in the morning, so I messaged on WhatsApp to ask if I could come straight in and sleep, and if there was a first-floor room since my luggage was heavy. They replied very quickly and gave me a good price, so I booked right away. The hotel lady was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, a good size, and the bed was firm. There's pretty good food next door. Kip Mall is 5rm away by Grab, or walkable if you don't mind crossing the road. A Grab to or from klia costs 30rm each way. Enjoyed my stay!

The price is amazingly cheap, and the friendly staff offer coffee, tea and water refills. It's a handy budget stopover, about 15 minutes from the airport, with restaurants next door and a 7eleven nearby. The rooms are small but clean, and the air conditioning works well. There are a few things to plan for: no elevator, so luggage has to go up to the second floor, and a smaller overnight bag may be easier. Some guests can be noisy, especially arriving late, so earplugs could help. In single rooms, the air conditioner blows straight onto the bed, which can be uncomfortable.

The quiet area has restaurants and laundry less than a minute away, and Kipmall is across the main road for ATMs, currency exchange and shopping. Our room was small but enough for a layover. The room, towels and bathroom were clean, and the air conditioning and hot water worked fine. There's an ironing facility and a kitchenette/pantry with complimentary coffee and tea. The management were welcoming, respectful and helpful, and replied promptly on WhatsApp. They asked our arrival time and had the room ready an hour before regular check-in. I had tea with brother Azman before we left. He's the owner and founder, a kind gentleman. Hopefully the new management keeps up that service. For the airport, it's about a 15-20min drive. Grab was 30 ringit each way, and my 1:15 AM booking arrived in three minutes. We got a great rest before our early flight.
