Sama-Sama Express KLIA Terminal 2 - Airside Transit Hotel

Just right for a break between flights. The front desk staff were very helpful, and the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The shower was really good, and the amenities were nice and adequate.

Sama Sama hotel was much quieter and more comfortable than the sleep capsules we tried on our way over. Still, this hotel worked well for our layover since we could stay inside T2 without clearing immigration. We had a comfortable sleep, a private bathroom with a good shower, and friendly staff. There wasn't much noise from other guests, and check-ins seemed grouped by time, so we didn't hear doors banging. We stayed for six hours, from 12:30am to 6:30am.

I arrived at the international terminal for a transfer to a domestic flight and found I couldn't stay at this hotel. Reception wouldn't help with cancelling or getting a refund either. The hotel should make the restriction clear, so other international-to-domestic passengers don't expect to stay here and end up stranded like I did.

We paid to enter with a premium lounge card, but there was no alcohol available, even for an extra charge. The only beer was a cheap one offered free, and the staff member's expression made it seem like he was giving it out of his own pocket. Bad experience.
