The Good Travelers Hostel - KL Airport

The staff were helpful, though not very professional, and there’s drinking water available. I was booked into an 8-bed dorm but got a 2-bed dorm instead. There weren’t any curtains on the bunk. It was good enough for one night and decent value for the price. It’s close to the airport, though still about a 20-minute Grab ride costing 40 MYR. The facilities looked much older than in the photos, with broken bathroom walls and a damaged toilet lid. The infrastructure is very basic.

A small, welcoming hostel near the airport. The owner was relaxed, helpful, and flexible about check-in, check-out, and things like towels. I’d booked a bed in a mixed dorm but was upgraded to a female dorm. The bed was comfortable and felt private with its curtain. There’s a water refill station, plus coffee and tea, and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

That cat and her kittens made my day. She was the cutest I’ve ever seen. The hostel is comfortable, the staff are really nice, and it’s very close to the airport. I didn’t feel unsafe, but I could get into my room without using a key, so the security could be better. Still, it was a good experience.

The people running the place are friendly and laid-back, and the internet works well. The bed is comfortable and there’s a hot shower, everything I need in a simple, cozy place. This is my third stay, and it’s still my favorite spot when I visit KUL. Thanks for a lovely stay!
