Hotel O Seremban Near UiTM MARA Formerly Sunflower Hotel

The room and toilet floor were dirty, there was a large spider, and no soap.

The room was spacious and the bed was okay. The air conditioning was cold, and the toilet cleanliness was average, though the floor felt a bit sticky. The receptionist was kind and courteous. Still, the Agoda directions seemed outdated and took me well past the actual location, to an empty lot in a remote village. I spent almost 30 minutes calling Agoda to ask for a cancellation, but their policy meant I couldn't cancel. The area has no restaurants or groceries, and it's 6-8 km from Seremban town, so finding food was a hassle. I didn't expect the hotel to be so far from the city. Cheap doesn't always mean good, and I'll check more carefully next time.

I'd forgotten I had a meeting the next day and hadn't booked ahead, so I made a reservation after 6 pm that evening. I was worried about what the hotel would be like, but it turned out well. The room was clean and a decent size, the bathroom was clean too, and the service was good.

It was okay for the price, and one of the cheapest options around. There's an iron available outside the room. Cleanliness gets at most 3/5 from me, and the showerhead holder was broken, so it wasn't my best hotel stay.
