Oyo 89676 Hotel 22

The air conditioning was cold and the bathroom had hot water. For less than RM40 a night, having a private bathroom was fine by me, so I can't complain about the price. The room was much dimmer than the posted photo, though, and the sheets and pillowcase were old and stained. The TV didn't work. Keep expectations low if you book based on that picture.

I booked through the Oyo app for June 29 to July 1, 2022, but after the refund period the hotel called and said every room was dirty and had bed mites, and that they refused to clean them. They said they wouldn't be responsible for lost or damaged belongings, or even for my health if I still stayed. They gave me the wrong number for Oyo and pressured me to switch hotels. I've never had such a terrible hotel experience.

At RM57, it was okay for one night to rest and shower. The room was average in size, with a clean bed and bathroom, and it had a TV. There was no window, and under the bed I found rubbish, including tissue and cigarettes.

I checked out without spending the night because the room was in such bad shape. The sheets were dirty and had burn holes, the air conditioning couldn't be controlled, and there was no outlet for the TV. Only the first floor could be used, the second was dilapidated, and there was no lift.
