Tropical Villa Service Suite

The security staff are completely uncooperative and rude, and they have no communication skills.

The facilities were well maintained, and our three-bedroom, three-storey unit was immaculate, clean, and comfortable. Water pressure was low, which is why I’m giving four stars. You can cook for yourself, but only with a microwave; our unit had no gas to light the stove. There was plenty of parking, though you need to pay 600 in cash for the deposit and another 50 for the car parking deposit. It’s a nice place in the middle of a local residential area, where you wouldn’t expect to find such a gem.

The area looks a bit shady when you first arrive, with old housing all around, but then you see the place itself and it’s beautiful. I love its concept and design. It’s family-friendly, and the guards are friendly too. There’s a nearby night market if you come on Mondays.

The villa has a gated compound with six-storey buildings, 17 blocks in all. Each block has four units and its own lift, with quite a few secure parking spaces in the basement. Even with all those blocks, the surroundings were very quiet. It’s in a residential area, so there aren’t interesting places nearby. The building is recorded in The Malaysia Book of Record for having the most wall murals. We loved the family suite, which felt like home. It’s a duplex: one master bedroom and two twin rooms upstairs, each with its own bathroom, TV, and balcony. There’s also a living area with a small sofa as you come in upstairs. The kitchen, dining area, and living hall are downstairs. The hall is great, and the provided kitchenette is complete enough for simple cooking. It also has a washing machine. The suite was well air conditioned, and there’s a door leading to the pool and facilities. The swimming pool is quite large, with a mini gym right beside it. Water pressure was just right.
