The single room was clean and had decent facilities, and the freezing temperature was still better than being hot. It was fine for two nights and about what I’d expect from a 2-star hotel. Before check-in, I had problems and needed to delay the Agoda booking by a day. When I called the next morning, another staff member said a client had been put in my room. Luckily that person was staying only one day, so I got the room after they checked out. A few hours later I called again, and the Indonesian male staff member who answered took responsibility, said the other staff shouldn’t have sold my booked room, and apologized for the trouble. I’m glad I spoke with a good staff member, so five stars for him. 👍🏻
The room was filthy, with bed bugs and dirty sheets, and the toilet seemed to have been used before we arrived. My husband had to rush to a clinic after getting insect bites. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had, and it was very disappointing and unacceptable. It was nothing like Enrich Hotel at Puncak Alam, even though they’re under the same management.
The bedsheets and pillowcases were stained, and there were strands of hair inside the blankets. I could wipe what looked like makeup off the surface of the sheet, which made it feel like they hadn’t been changed at all. I might have overlooked some stains at a 2-star hotel, but not that. The bathroom floor was extremely wet when we entered, even though we checked in late, around 7 PM, and check-in was meant to be at 3 PM. The air conditioning was already on and the room was cold, so the wet floor was strange if housekeeping had cleaned between 12 and 3. The door lock also felt suspicious and unsafe. I booked a Standard Triple Room through Booking.com last month, on 30 October 2025. It was supposed to have a double bed and a single bed, but at check-in the receptionist suddenly said the room had been closed for six months. I don’t know whether that was the hotel’s fault or Booking.com’s. They gave us a small room with one double bed and very little space for our things. I’d paid the bigger-room price and got no refund despite the clear price difference. The whole stay felt unpleasant and strange. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
The bathroom water ran very slowly, and it still wasn’t hot with the heater on while showering. There were also smells coming from the window side. The receptionist was a foreigner from Bangladesh who couldn’t speak Malaysian at all, though he had a nice attitude.
Our room’s access card didn’t work, and the receptionist told us to call them every time we wanted to get in so they could open the door. That was a real inconvenience. There was also a foreign staff member at the front desk who didn’t speak English well, which made it hard to communicate. The bedsheets looked dirty and stained, and the towel smelled so bad we had to use it anyway, which was disgusting. There were hardly any outlets, so my friend and I struggled to charge our phones and other things. I wouldn’t stay here again.
