Premier Hotel

The room was the main letdown for me. It was uncomfortably hot, with barely any noticeable air-conditioning, and the bed's position meant we couldn't feel the cool air. There was no bidet or hose in the toilet, so we had to use the shower when we needed to do our business. My roommate also saw the cleaner try to open our locked door around 7 a.m. after we didn't answer the knock. People are still sleeping at that hour. For what we paid, the room quality fell short of what we expected. I'm disappointed and hope they use this feedback to improve. The location is convenient, near the night market and other attractions, and the front desk staff were great, especially when helping us find the nearest laundry. The food and drinks were okay, lah, tasty enough to eat. The internet worked sometimes and had problems at other times.

The place needs a makeover throughout, and I would avoid it. There were water leaks in the hallway, with a bucket left to catch rainwater. In the room, the outlet was awkward to reach if you wanted to work at the desk. Our safe didn't work; staff first said they'd send someone to fix it, then told us it hadn't worked for years. The internet was out for both days of our stay. Staff suggested refreshing my browser even though they knew it wouldn't help. After I complained, one staff member said the internet was offered “free,” as if that meant the service wasn't really required. Our room was on the 13th floor, and the old, tired carpet smelled musty as we stepped off the elevator.

A comfortable place, with a bathtub and breakfast included. There's a movie theater and a mall nearby too.

The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly. The room was spacious, with great water pressure in the bathroom. Try their cheesecake if you visit, it's so yummy and not too sweet. I loved it! A very good hotel in a strategic location, and I recommend it for a one-night stay.
