The owners were very pleasant, and the room was clean and comfortable with hot running water. The place looks quite run down, but it was still perfectly acceptable for a stopover. We paid 61R for one night in a good-sized double room with a bathroom.

The room was comfortable enough, though the toilet could do with improvement. The hotel itself is old and unusual, upstairs from a Chinese Restaurant, so you can smell whatever is being cooked downstairs.

Friendly staff, a cheap cafe next door, working AC, and Wi-Fi that's slow but usable made this a good option for a short city stay. The bathroom was dated but clean, and the pillows were a bit firm but fine. Mc Donald's and a 7eleven are a short walk away, and the speedboat terminal is about ten minutes on foot. The main drawback is the nearby bar, which plays loud music until the early hours. We could hear it even in the shower, so I wouldn't suggest this place for families or anyone looking for quiet.

A good spot and a nice room for the price. I'd recommend it if you mainly need somewhere to sleep and bathe. There's a bar right next door, though, and its bass can be annoying at night.

The room was better than average for what it cost. The owner knows a lot about local issues and enjoys sitting down for a chat. They can also arrange visits to longhouses.
