The rooms were clean, and the furnishings and decor looked very new, though the cleaning could have been a little more thorough. The bed felt hard and left my back hurting a bit in the morning. There's a pub downstairs with a live band, so nights can be noisy, but the singing was quite good. It's on the third floor of LH Fishing Tackle (Kedai Pancing LH), and you have to take the stairs. The cheapest room costs RM50. From there, Wisma Sanyan, McDonald's, Maybank, and other city-center spots are a short walk away. Agoda didn't pass my booking on to the owners, so booking directly seems like the better choice. Given the location, cleanliness, and price, it was decent overall.

It's an affordable, clean place close to the night market, central market, tourist heritage center, and plenty of places to eat. The staff are friendly, and the fishing shop downstairs is good if you're into fishing. I also picked up some delicious papaya last time. I really recommend staying here if you're visiting Sibu.

The room was clean, but the walkway and stairs up to it are very narrow. The toilet and bathroom are shared with other guests. The owner wasn't very friendly and came across as harsh, and checkout had to wait until 9am.

Don't book here. You can't find the hotel on the map, and OYO just ignores you. The hotel's phone number goes unanswered too.
