Wellesley Hotel

The water dispenser machine needs maintenance. I saw a lot of dirt while filling my bottle, which was disappointing. The hotel is comfortable even though the rooms are on the small side, and the location is really convenient. My first impression was very good, perhaps because it’s still new. One thing they should improve is the parking fee reimbursement. Waiting one working week for it is a hassle. I’d still recommend the hotel overall.

The street outside often smells like rubbish, which takes away from the area. That’s not the hotel’s fault, though. Inside, the lobby smells nice and the hotel itself is good. The surrounding shops and newer buildings look well designed and a bit upscale, making it a relaxing place. The location is good, the price is good, and the building is new. My room was clean but a little small for two beds. I was travelling alone and didn’t need two, but that was the cheaper option. Booking.com was cheaper than Trip.com. Reserved parking is in front, and you can scan to get RM10 back per night on the entrance parking fee.

The bed was comfy, the room stayed quiet, the AC worked well, and there were power sockets everywhere, which was great for charging my gear. Water pressure was strong too. Breakfast and concierge service were decent, nothing special, but they did the job.

The bathroom and ceiling could use more maintenance attention. Even so, I had a pleasant stay. The rooms are on the small side but have all the essentials. The lobby feels cozy, elevator access is secure, and the 24-hour front desk staff were efficient and kind, making check-in smooth. Having parking and a fantastic location made arriving hassle-free.
