I liked the bright, clean staircase and its safety railing, though it is steep. The design seems intended to make the most of the space in the corner building. It’s a cosy, nice budget hotel in a very good location. I enjoyed my extended holiday stays there, visiting Sitiawan and Pankor twice.

The room was really spacious and good for resting and recharging after a long trip. The hotel owner was very nice.

The location is noisy and the room feels dated. The staff were extremely rude, which was the worst part.

I stayed at the hotel, which was decent enough, but the locked fire escapes were appalling. There was no menu at the restaurant. The server said she was the menu, and when I told her I couldn’t know the prices that way, she said I could ask. I didn’t want a 10-minute conversation just to decide what to eat, so I went elsewhere. It may work for Chinese customers, but it was hopeless for a tourist like me.

Getting to rooms on level 1 and above means walking up the stairs, which would be difficult for senior citizens or anyone with knee problems. It’s ridiculous that the owners built the hotel this way. Stay away.
